State Farm® Insurance Agent Bryson McCarley

"This low rating is for State Farm in general. We had McCarley State Farm give us a quote for car and home. At the time of the quote we had 5 drivers. One driver had a claim. We had a claim where my husband was hit from behind by an uninsured motorist. We had a couple fixed windshields from rocks. All of these things were disclosed to State Farm before we received our quote. The quote came back and it was cheaper than Travelers who we currently had so we switched. Fast forward a few weeks after switching to State Farm. I am 46 years old and I have never hit another car until a few weeks after I switched to State Farm. Unfortunately, I had a fender bender that was my fault. I rear ended another vehicle going about 10 miles a hour. No airbags deployed. Both vehicles drove off. I exchanged info with the person I hit and that was that. Not long after the accident we received a letter stating our insurance would be dropped. We were told there was nothing we could do to keep the insurance. We had to quickly find new coverage. My fender bender claim is currently not settled and we cannot get a reduced rate from our new insurance until this claim is settled. It has been over 4 months. Now, we are paying $2,000 a month; almost 3 times the amount we were paying before we switched to State Farm. It has been horrible. I wish we had never switched. It was a huge mistake. Kara at this office was very sympathetic, but I think it was out of her hands. She said it was corporate. Not sure if Mr. McCarley could have done anything on our behalf. He never contacted us personally."

"State Farm in general take good care of their customers, but the office where you sign up does make a difference! Jen always takes her time with me on the phone, I feel like they answer my questions, educate me so I can make good decisions, and they treat me like they know me…but in a good way, lol. Both Jen and Bryson sound like they genuinely like what they do. When I first signed up, there was a glitch with one of our policies and it got charged twice, it was going to take a few days to refund so Bryson actually drove the money to our home so we would have it. He said it’s what a good neighbor would do, and they trusted us to pay it back once we were refunded. If that’s not taking their good neighbor role seriously, nothing is!
